Here we will discuss the basics of caring for desert/grassland tortoises specifically, the Leopard (stigmochelys pardalis) and Indian Star (geochelone elegans) tortoises.
All information will be based on my own continuous research and personal experiences with my tortoises.
I am excited to share them with you!
Check out this daily routine with my star baby tortoises!
Spring has brought us plenty of vegetation for our tortoises. Now that the sun's warmth befall our lawn, it is time to reap the advantages of this year's summer! But of course, with CAUTION! The Tortoise Table is a comprehensive plant database that will help you distinguish what is safe and harmful to feed to your beloved tortoise(s). I have always referenced my tortoises' diet to TTT recommendations. My tortoises have never had any issues with their feed and we recommend TTT at a high regard as the best resource in terms of healthy herbivorous diet and nutrition.
